How to properly irrigate your ears
Ear irrigation is a method used to clean out ear wax. To flush out earwax, you can use irrigation to inject liquid into your ears. Cerumen is the medical term for earwax. Earwax buildup can lead to symptoms like impaired hearing, dizziness, or even ear pain. Ear irrigation is not recommended for patients with certain medical conditions or those who have had eardrum tubes removed. A person performing ear irrigation at home may also be a concern. We will discuss the risks and benefits of ear irrigation, and how it is performed by most people.
