IFOS2026 Candidate City / ISTANBUL

We are glad to be a part of the upcoming IFOS Dubai Meeting 2023, which will be held under Prof. Hussain Al Rand’s leadership. We would like to invite you all to Istanbul, to the historic capital of 3 Empires, for the next Congress which will be held in 2026. We have prepared an exciting program covering clinical key points, and practical applications, surgical techniques, and new developing technologies. It is of utmost importance to the Turkish ORL&HNS Society, the development and education of our colleagues, especially for the participants from low income countries. Our Society is currently concentrated its efforts to provide grants and funds to support our colleagues.

Istanbul is a natural gateway on two continents, Europe and Asia, a metropolis with 8,500 years of rich history. Bringing Europe and Asia together, Istanbul is the historical and cultural center of Türkiye. For ages, the city of Istanbul hosted countless cultures and civilizations. It is a “must-see destination” for all kinds of travelers and a financial center for global brands. Once-proud Constantinople’s history is marvelous and memorable. We will do our best for sharing with you historical, and cultural experiences of Istanbul and Türkiye with you.

For many countries’ citizens, there is no visa requirement and for the rest, there is the possibility of online visa, which can be obtained upon arrival. Istanbul is accessible from all parts of the world, served by more than 300 international airlines. The city has two international airports, Sabiha Gökçen Airport on the Asian side and the New Istanbul Airport on the European side. As our official airline, Turkish Airlines flies to more countries in the world than any other airline.

We are certain that, given the opportunity, we will host a meeting which will be remembered both scientifically and socially for many years to come.
